Women's Club, The Federation of Women's Club, Mansfield, Ohio

The Women's Club was built in the 1840s and served as the residence of the Hedges Family. It was given to the Mansfield Federation of Women in 1926. Remodeled in 1890, 1950 and 1972, it still stands as the Women's Club at 145 Park Avenue West.

On October 21, 1908, presidential candidate William Bryan Jennings made his third appearance in Mansfield, Ohio. An old freight car was fashioned into a stage at the corner of Main and Sixth Streets.

The Wiler - Gas Explosion
