The Liberty Bell comes to Town
On July 6, 1915, crowds gathered along the Pennsylvania Railroad to see the Liberty Bell as it was being transported from Philadelphia to San Francisco for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition.

Streetcar 129 Wreck
On July 24, 1908, streetcar no. 129 of The Cleveland Southwestern and Columbus Railway ran unmanned for half a mile down North Main Street in Mansfield, Ohio before crashing into the Laver home just north of Sixth Street. No one was injured.
