Walpark Building, cor Park Ave. West and Walnut Street

The Walpark Building is located on the southeast corner of Park Avenue West and South Walnut. The structure is on the site of the city market building that for years served as city hall and the main fire station. This photo looks from the northwest side of the intersection at the front and Walnut Street sides of the building. The Walpark at one time housed the J.C. Penny Department Store.
