To the far right, the roof of the jail peeks up over the trees while to the left, a streetlight arch stretches across Park Avenue. The courthouse is lacking its familiar tower--the first one having been demolished, the second not yet constructed. Flags and banners decorate the building, perhaps in celebration of the city's centennial.
