Description
On November 12, 1907, at 10:55 pm, an electric car traveling 50 miles per hour from Galion, Ohio to Mansfield, Ohio wrecked injuring all 10 people on board. Peter Sander broke his leg which resulted in amputation just above the ankle. Other passengers were: Alexander Switzer, Theresa Cordrine, Victor Lime, J. R. Taylor, Harriett Bogardus, John Hoephner, Howard Black, conductor Fred Christman, and motorman Grover Freese.
